Qingdu Shenjin Decoction is a traditional Zhuang medicine that has been studied for its therapeutic potential in treating rheumatoid arthritis (RA). In a retrospective study, when administered in combination with needle-pricking therapy, it demonstrated significant improvements in clinical efficacy, right ventricular function (measured by TAPSE), and autonomic balance (measured by HRV indices like SDANN, SDNN, RMSSD, and PNN50) in RA patients. This suggests its role in modulating cardiovascular parameters and autonomic nervous system activity in the context of RA.
