Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Qingjiang Hewei Granules is an innovative Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) candidate developed by Heilongjiang Zhenbaodao Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. for the treatment of non-erosive gastroesophageal reflux disease (NERD). Classified as a Class 1.1 new TCM drug in China, it is specifically formulated to address the "liver and stomach heat" syndrome (肝胃郁热证), which is characterized by symptoms such as heartburn, acid regurgitation, and epigastric pain. The therapeutic approach of the granules is to clear heat, harmonize the stomach, and descend rebellious qi. By targeting these underlying TCM imbalances, the drug aims to alleviate the clinical symptoms of NERD and improve patient quality of life. It has advanced into Phase 3 clinical trials in China.
