Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Qingluo Tongmai Pian (清络通脉片) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) compound preparation. It is formulated as an oral tablet and contains multiple herbal ingredients, including paeoniflorin, paeonol, aloe-emodin, rhein, emodin, among others[2]. The product is designed to promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis according to TCM theory. Its primary clinical use is for the treatment of ischemic cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases by improving blood flow in the heart and brain vessels[1]. The mechanism of action involves multiple pathways typical of TCM compounds—mainly promoting circulation ("huoxue"), resolving stasis ("huayu"), and unblocking channels ("tongluo"). It does not act via a single molecular target but rather through synergistic effects on vascular function.
