Overview
Qingpeng Ointment is a traditional Tibetan medicine (TTM) formulation developed and manufactured by Gansu Qizheng Tibetan Medicine. It is primarily used as a topical treatment for inflammatory and painful conditions, including eczema, atopic dermatitis, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and post-stroke shoulder-hand syndrome. The ointment is composed of several herbal ingredients, including *Aconitum pendulum*, *Oxytropis falcata*, and *Tinospora sinensis*. Its pharmacological effects are attributed to its anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipruritic properties, which are mediated through the inhibition of pro-inflammatory cytokines such as TNF-α and IL-1β, and the modulation of immune responses.
