Overview

Qingqiao antiviral granules is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) hospital preparation developed by the Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (CDUTCM). Formulated based on classical TCM principles for clearing heat and detoxifying (Qingre Jiedu), it was specifically designed to treat viral respiratory infections, including influenza and COVID-19. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the preparation was approved by the Sichuan Provincial Medical Products Administration as a hospital preparation for use in designated medical institutions within Sichuan Province. It is intended to alleviate symptoms such as fever, cough, and sore throat by inhibiting viral replication and modulating the host's inflammatory response.
