Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Qingre Lishi Decoction is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal formulation developed for the treatment of chronic endometritis (CE). Based on the TCM principles of 'Qingre' (clearing heat) and 'Lishi' (draining dampness), the decoction is designed to address the underlying inflammatory and 'damp-heat' pathology associated with persistent endometrial inflammation. It is currently being evaluated in randomized controlled trials, such as those conducted by Fuxing Hospital Affiliated to Capital Medical University, to determine its efficacy and safety compared to standard antibiotic treatments. The goal of using this decoction is to provide an effective alternative to antibiotics, thereby helping to mitigate the risks of antibiotic resistance and side effects in patients with CE.
