The formulation is derived from the extract of *Senecio scandens* (Qianli Guang). It is primarily used for its anti-inflammatory, detoxifying, and antioxidant properties. The drug is indicated for a wide range of acute inflammatory conditions, including acute conjunctivitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, enteritis, bacterial dysentery, and upper respiratory tract infections.
