Drug intelligence / Profile preview
QingReHuaTanHuoXue is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal formula developed for the treatment of hypertension and renal atherosclerosis. Based on the TCM principles of clearing heat (Qing Re), transforming phlegm (Hua Tan), and activating blood circulation (Huo Xue), the formula is designed to stabilize vulnerable plaques in the renal artery. It is being investigated in clinical trials sponsored by the Capital Medical Development Fund to evaluate its efficacy in reducing plaque instability and managing hypertensive complications related to atherosclerosis. The formula typically consists of multiple botanical extracts that work synergistically to address the underlying pathological factors of phlegm-heat and blood stasis associated with vascular disease.
