Overview
Qingyan Lihou Capsule is a traditional Mongolian medicinal formulation developed by the Mongolian Medicine College of Inner Mongolia University for Nationalities. It is specifically indicated for the treatment of acute pharyngitis, particularly cases characterized by lung and stomach heat syndrome according to traditional medical theory. The preparation is designed to clear heat, detoxify, and alleviate pharyngeal pain and inflammation. As of 2022, the drug was undergoing Phase III clinical evaluation in China (CTR20222973) to establish its efficacy and safety profile compared to placebo in patients with acute pharyngeal infections.
