Qingying 2

Qingying 2 is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) hospital preparation developed by the Shanghai Municipal Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine for the treatment of Hashimoto's thyroiditis. Formulated as a decoction or granules, it is designed to address the TCM patterns of phlegm-stasis and liver-qi stagnation, which are frequently associated with autoimmune thyroid disorders. Clinical research indicates that Qingying 2 modulates the immune system by significantly reducing the serum levels of thyroid peroxidase antibodies (TPOAb) and thyroglobulin antibodies (TGAb). It is also thought to regulate the balance of T-helper cell subsets, such as Th1/Th2 and Treg/Th17 ratios, thereby reducing thyroid inflammation and volume while improving clinical symptoms in patients.
