Qingying oral liquid

Qingying oral liquid is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation based on the classical Qingying Tang (Clear the Nutritive Level Decoction), first recorded in the 'Wenbing Tiaobian' (Systematic Differentiation of Warm Diseases). It is primarily indicated for syndromes where pathogenic heat has penetrated the 'Ying' (nutritive) level of the body, a state often associated with severe febrile illnesses and systemic inflammatory responses. The formulation consists of a complex mixture of botanical and animal-derived ingredients, including Water Buffalo Horn (Bubali Cornu), Rehmannia root, and Coptis rhizome. Pharmacologically, it exerts antipyretic, anti-inflammatory, and anti-endotoxin effects by suppressing the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines and modulating the immune response. It is widely used in China for the treatment of high fever, irritability, thirst, and skin eruptions associated with infectious diseases.
