Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Qinhuang Formula is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal preparation developed by Ruijin Hospital (Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine) for the treatment of hematological malignancies, particularly diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) and follicular lymphoma (FL). It is primarily utilized as a maintenance therapy following standard chemotherapy (such as R-CHOP) to improve disease-free survival and reduce recurrence in elderly patients. The formula typically consists of several herbal components, including *Radix Astragali* (Huang Qi) and *Radix Scutellariae* (Huang Qin), which are thought to exert anti-tumor effects through immune modulation, induction of apoptosis in malignant B cells, and inhibition of tumor cell proliferation.
