Overview
Qishe Pill is a compound Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) developed by Shanghai Sundise Traditional Chinese Medicine Co., Ltd. and researchers at the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is composed of six main ingredients: processed Radix Astragali, Muscone, Szechuan Lovage Rhizome, Radix Stephaniae Tetrandrae, Ovientvine, and Calculus Bovis Artifactus. The formulation is primarily used for the treatment of cervical spondylosis, including cervical radiculopathy and cervical spondylotic myelopathy, to alleviate neck pain and improve postoperative recovery. It has been in clinical use since 2009 and has undergone various clinical trials to evaluate its efficacy and safety compared to standard treatments like mecobalamin or celecoxib.
