Qishen Huoxue Granules

Qishen Huoxue Granules (QHG) is a classical Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) prescription formulated as a botanical drug. It is primarily used for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases, especially chronic heart failure and sepsis-induced cardiomyopathy. The formulation contains multiple herbal components designed to achieve synergistic therapeutic effects by improving myocardial energy metabolism and alleviating symptoms associated with heart failure[2][3][5]. Mechanistically, recent studies indicate that QHG exerts its effects by modulating the Mas receptor/PI3K-AKT-mTOR signaling pathway, thereby inhibiting excessive autophagy in cardiomyocytes and reducing cardiac damage during sepsis[6].
