Overview
Qishenyiqi Dripping Pills (QSYQ) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) formulation developed and manufactured by Tasly Pharmaceutical Group. Approved by China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) in 2003, it is a dripping pill preparation composed of four medicinal herbs: *Astragalus membranaceus* (Huangqi), *Salvia miltiorrhiza* (Danshen), *Panax notoginseng* (Sanqi), and *Dalbergia odorifera* (Jiangxiang) in a ratio of 10:5:1:0.067. QSYQ is primarily indicated for the treatment of coronary heart disease, angina pectoris, and ischemic heart failure. Its therapeutic actions are described in TCM terms as nourishing Qi, promoting blood circulation, and relieving pain. Clinical studies have demonstrated that QSYQ improves cardiac function, exercise tolerance, and ventricular remodeling, often serving as an adjunct to standard Western medical therapy for cardiovascular conditions.
