QIV-IB

**QIV-IB** is Instituto Butantan's investigational quadrivalent, split-virion, inactivated seasonal influenza vaccine. It is designed to prevent influenza by presenting inactivated influenza-virus antigens to the immune system and inducing strain-specific humoral immune responses, including hemagglutination-inhibition antibodies. QIV-IB has been evaluated in randomized active-controlled clinical studies in Brazil, including a completed safety, immunogenicity, and lot-to-lot consistency study and a Phase 3 pediatric study.
