Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Qiyetuomai Capsule is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) developed by Jilin Tianyao Technology Co., Ltd. for the treatment of patients in the recovery phase of atherosclerotic thrombotic cerebral infarction. It is specifically indicated for the TCM pattern of blood stasis obstructing collaterals. The drug is formulated as a capsule for oral administration. In clinical trials, it has been evaluated in Phase 2 studies in China (e.g., CTR20140048) to assess its safety and efficacy in improving neurological function and recovery post-stroke. As a botanical-based therapy, its mechanism involves the synergistic action of multiple herbal components intended to resolve blood stasis and clear obstructions in the microvasculature.
