Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Qiyu, specifically referred to as Qiyu oil in a therapeutic context, is an external application primarily used to promote post-operational wound healing, particularly in patients undergoing anal fistulectomy. It is often applied as Qiyu oil gauze (QYOG). Its mechanism of action involves stimulating wound granulation tissues to produce vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF), which subsequently enhances capillary genesis and improves blood circulation in the wound area.
