Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Qizao Granules is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) developed and manufactured by Shaanxi Tianyang Pharmaceutical. The formulation is primarily composed of extracts from *Astragalus membranaceus* (Huangqi) and *Ziziphus jujuba* (Dazao). According to TCM principles, the drug functions to tonify Qi and nourish the blood. It is clinically indicated for the treatment of symptoms resulting from Qi and blood deficiency, including chronic fatigue, dizziness, palpitations, and insomnia. Furthermore, it is frequently utilized as a supportive therapy for leukopenia (low white blood cell count), particularly in patients undergoing chemotherapy or radiotherapy, due to its purported ability to stimulate hematopoietic function and modulate the immune response.
