Qizhu Zhanjin San is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) topical powder formulation developed by the Luoyang Orthopedic-Traumatological Hospital of Henan Province (also known as the Henan Provincial Orthopedic Hospital). It is a hospital-made preparation (院内制剂) rooted in the Pingle Guo's Orthopedics tradition, a recognized intangible cultural heritage in China. The drug is primarily used to treat impaired wound healing, superficial wounds, and musculoskeletal injuries. Its therapeutic action is characterized by promoting blood circulation, resolving blood stasis, reducing inflammation, and accelerating tissue regeneration. It is currently being evaluated in clinical trials to further establish its efficacy and safety in patients with poorly healing superficial wounds.
