Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Qizi Yusi Tang (also known as Qizi Yusi Pill or Qiziyusi decoction) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formula that is being investigated for its potential to improve pregnancy outcomes in women of advanced reproductive age, particularly those undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF). Research suggests that this compound preparation may enhance ovarian reserve capacity, ovarian response, and possibly promote endometrial receptivity. Its proposed mechanism of action involves the regulation of glycerophospholipid metabolism and steroid hormone biosynthesis. The formula is composed of several traditional Chinese herbs, and its efficacy is being evaluated in multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trials.
