Drug intelligence / Profile preview
QL-601 is a recombinant protein vaccine candidate developed by BioQingLam for the prevention of influenza. The vaccine is designed for transdermal administration using the company's proprietary soluble microneedle patch technology. This delivery platform aims to provide a painless alternative to traditional injections while potentially enhancing the immune response through the targeting of antigen-presenting cells in the skin. QL-601 targets influenza antigens to elicit protective immunity against the flu. It is currently being evaluated in investigator-initiated trials (IIT) as part of BioQingLam's pipeline of microneedle-delivered therapeutics.
