QL1206

QL1206 is a biosimilar of denosumab developed by Qilu Pharmaceutical. It is a fully human monoclonal antibody that specifically targets and inhibits the receptor activator of nuclear factor kappa-B ligand (RANKL), thereby preventing the development and activity of osteoclasts, which are responsible for bone resorption. By inhibiting RANKL, QL1206 reduces bone turnover and loss, making it effective in conditions such as osteoporosis and in preventing skeletal-related events (SREs) associated with bone metastases from solid tumors. Clinical studies have demonstrated that QL1206 has pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamic, efficacy, safety, and immunogenicity profiles equivalent to those of reference denosumab products (Prolia/Xgeva)[1][2][3][4][5][7].
