Overview

QL1706 + bevacizumab + pemetrexed + carboplatin is a combination regimen used primarily in clinical trials for the treatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), especially in patients who have progressed on EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitors. QL1706 is a bispecific monoclonal antibody consisting of an anti-PD-1 (IgG4) and anti-CTLA-4 (IgG1) produced from a single cell line. It blocks the PD-1 and CTLA-4 immune checkpoints, thereby promoting T-cell mediated anti-tumor activity. Bevacizumab is a monoclonal antibody that inhibits vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A), suppressing angiogenesis. Pemetrexed is an antifolate chemotherapy agent that inhibits thymidylate synthase and other folate-dependent enzymes involved in DNA synthesis, while carboplatin is a platinum-based chemotherapy that induces DNA damage and cell death in rapidly dividing cells[3][7]. The combination is generally administered intravenously in 3-week cycles, often followed by maintenance therapy with QL1706, bevacizumab, and pemetrexed[3].
