QL1706 is an investigational bifunctional monoclonal antibody that targets and blocks both the programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) and cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated protein 4 (CTLA-4) pathways, combining anti-PD-1 IgG4 and anti-CTLA4 IgG1 antibodies. It is developed as a novel dual immune checkpoint inhibitor for cancer immunotherapy, aiming to enhance antitumor immune responses. When combined with standard chemotherapies such as carboplatin and paclitaxel, QL1706 has shown promising efficacy in clinical trials for advanced solid tumors, including non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), small cell lung cancer (SCLC), cervical cancer, nasopharyngeal carcinoma, and hepatocellular carcinoma.
