QL1706 + chemotherapy + anlotinib is a combination therapeutic regimen being evaluated for the treatment of recurrent ovarian cancer. The regimen consists of QL1706 (iparomlimab/tuononimab), a first-in-class bifunctional antibody targeting both programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) and cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated protein 4 (CTLA-4); anlotinib, an oral multi-target tyrosine kinase inhibitor that suppresses angiogenesis by blocking VEGFR, FGFR, PDGFR, and c-KIT; and a chemotherapy backbone typically comprising pegylated liposomal doxorubicin (PLD) combined with a platinum agent (carboplatin or cisplatin). This strategy aims to achieve synergistic anti-tumor activity by combining dual immune checkpoint blockade to restore T-cell function, anti-angiogenic therapy to normalize tumor vasculature and reprogram the immune microenvironment, and cytotoxic chemotherapy to induce direct tumor cell death and potentially increase neoantigen release. The combination is currently under investigation in a Phase II clinical trial sponsored by the Affiliated Cancer Hospital & Institute of Guangzhou Medical University.
