Overview

QL1706 + lenvatinib is a combination therapy under investigation for the treatment of various cancers. QL1706 is an investigational bifunctional antibody that combines the activity of both PD-1 and CTLA-4 antibodies, functioning as a dual immune checkpoint inhibitor to enhance antitumor immune responses[1][2][3]. Lenvatinib is an oral small molecule receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitor that targets multiple kinases involved in tumor angiogenesis and proliferation, including VEGFR1–3, FGFR1–4, PDGFRα, KIT, and RET[6][8]. The combination aims to leverage both immune modulation (via checkpoint inhibition) and antiangiogenic/antiproliferative effects (via kinase inhibition). Clinical trials are ongoing for several solid tumors including non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), cervical cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), among others[2][3][7].
