Overview

This combination therapy regimen is an investigational treatment being evaluated for first-line use in patients with advanced metastatic pancreatic cancer. The regimen integrates four distinct therapeutic agents: **QL1706**, **lenvatinib**, **nab-paclitaxel**, and **gemcitabine**. QL1706 is a novel bifunctional MabPair product developed by Qilu Pharmaceutical that simultaneously targets **PD-1** (iparomlimab) and **CTLA-4** (tuvonralimab), providing dual immune checkpoint inhibition to enhance anti-tumor T-cell activity. Lenvatinib is an oral multi-tyrosine kinase inhibitor that targets **VEGF** and **FGF** receptors, among others, to inhibit tumor angiogenesis and lymphangiogenesis. The chemotherapy component, known as the **AG regimen**, consists of nab-paclitaxel (albumin-bound paclitaxel) and gemcitabine, which are standard-of-care cytotoxic agents for pancreatic cancer. This multi-modal approach aims to combine the direct cytotoxic effects of chemotherapy with the anti-angiogenic and immunomodulatory effects of targeted and immunotherapy agents. The regimen is currently being studied in a Phase II clinical trial led by investigator Du Juan.
