QL1706 + tyrosine kinase inhibitor is a combination therapy being evaluated for the treatment of advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). QL1706 (also known as iparomlimab/tuvonralimab) is a first-in-class bifunctional antibody that simultaneously targets programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) and cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated protein 4 (CTLA-4). In the HCC-SIGHT platform trial conducted by Fudan University, QL1706 is combined with a tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI), specifically either lenvatinib or regorafenib. This combination aims to leverage the synergistic effects of dual checkpoint inhibition and anti-angiogenic/multi-kinase inhibition to overcome resistance and improve outcomes in HCC patients who have failed first-line therapy.
