QLS31901 is a novel bifunctional fusion protein designed for the treatment of advanced or metastatic solid tumors. It acts as a bispecific antibody that targets both programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) and transforming growth factor beta (TGF-β), functioning as an immune checkpoint inhibitor and TGF-β pathway blocker. By simultaneously inhibiting PD-L1 and TGF-β, QLS31901 aims to enhance anti-tumor immune responses by overcoming tumor-induced immunosuppression. The drug is administered intravenously and has been evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials for safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, immunogenicity, receptor occupancy, and preliminary efficacy in patients with advanced malignancies. It is being developed and manufactured by Qilu Pharmaceutical.
