Overview

QLS4131 is a novel tri-specific humanized antibody (trispecific T-cell engager, TriTE) developed by Qilu Pharmaceutical for the treatment of multiple myeloma and systemic lupus erythematosus. It targets three antigens simultaneously—B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA), CD3 (T cell surface glycoprotein), and GPRC5D (G-protein coupled receptor family C group 5 member D). The drug acts as a BCMA inhibitor, CD3 stimulant, and GPRC5D inhibitor. Its mechanism involves redirecting T cells to target malignant plasma cells expressing BCMA or GPRC5D, thereby promoting immune-mediated cytotoxicity against these cancerous or autoreactive cells[2][3][6]. Clinical development is ongoing with phase 1 trials in relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma and systemic lupus erythematosus[2][6][9].
