Overview

QLS5212 is an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) developed by Qilu Pharmaceutical that targets trophoblast glycoprotein (TPBG), also known as 5T4. TPBG is an oncofetal antigen highly expressed on the surface of various solid tumors, including lung, breast, and colorectal cancers, while maintaining limited expression in normal adult tissues. The drug consists of a monoclonal antibody specific to TPBG conjugated to a cytotoxic payload. Upon binding to TPBG on the cancer cell surface, the ADC is internalized, and the payload is released to induce cell death. QLS5212 is currently undergoing Phase 1 clinical evaluation to assess its safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and preliminary efficacy in patients with advanced, unresectable, or metastatic solid tumors.
