QN-019a is an allogeneic cell therapy product composed of natural killer (NK) cells derived from genetically engineered human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs). These NK cells are engineered to express a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) targeting the tumor-associated antigen CD19. The therapy is designed for immunomodulating and antineoplastic activity against CD19-positive B-cell malignancies. Developed by Qihan Biotech, it represents the first gene-edited iPSC-derived cell therapy product approved for clinical trials in China. Its primary indication is for the treatment of relapsed or refractory aggressive B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma and other CD19-positive hematologic cancers[1][2][3][4][5].
