Overview
QN-06 is a preclinical inhaled drug candidate developed by Qnovia in collaboration with the University of Virginia (UVA) for the treatment of pulmonary infections caused by *Bacillus anthracis* (anthrax). The drug leverages Qnovia's RespiRx inhaled drug delivery platform to administer UVA's proprietary antimicrobial peptides directly to the lungs. This collaboration aims to address the critical need for new treatments against multidrug-resistant bacteria and biodefense threats, while also validating Qnovia's delivery platform in a new therapeutic area. The development program focuses on drug-product formulation, stability, and in vivo safety and efficacy models.
