QN-139b is a universal, off-the-shelf, dual-targeting CAR-NK (chimeric antigen receptor natural killer) cell therapy developed from induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs). It is engineered to eliminate pathogenic B cells and plasma cells by targeting both CD19 and BCMA, using multiplexed gene editing for improved safety, persistence, and reduced immunogenicity. QN-139b incorporates advanced features including a tEGFR safety switch, nine gene edits (including CD16 knockout), and proprietary elements for increased in vivo expansion and durability. It has demonstrated strong clinical efficacy and safety in a first-in-human trial for refractory systemic sclerosis, inducing immune reset, reducing autoantibodies, and reversing fibrosis[1][3].
