QR-435 is an all-natural antiviral formulation developed by Quigley Pharma, primarily composed of green tea extract and horseradish (at a concentration of at least 50%). It was specifically designed to protect against viral infections, with a primary focus on the influenza A virus H3N2 strain. Preclinical research, including studies in ferret models and in vitro assays, demonstrated its efficacy in preventing viral transmission and providing prophylaxis. Additionally, the compound has been utilized in impregnated masks to effectively block the passage of live viruses.
