Drug intelligence / Profile preview
QR-440 is a veterinary drug candidate that was under development by Quigley Pharma, a subsidiary of The Quigley Corporation (now ProPhase Labs). Described as a naturally derived compound, it was intended for the treatment of various inflammatory conditions in animals and received an Investigational New Animal Drug (INAD) number from the FDA's Center for Veterinary Medicine. Preclinical data suggested that the compound possessed both anti-inflammatory and potential disease-modifying properties, distinguishing it from standard palliative treatments. Development of QR-440 appears to have been discontinued following the parent company's restructuring and transition into ProPhase Labs around 2009.
