Overview

QR055 is a small molecule, highly selective inhibitor of Rho-associated protein kinase 2 (ROCK2) currently in preclinical development by Createrna Development for the treatment of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). ROCK2 is a key signaling molecule involved in the regulation of the cytoskeleton, cell adhesion, and migration; its activation is linked to the fibrotic process, including myofibroblast differentiation and extracellular matrix production. By targeting ROCK2, QR055 aims to reduce lung tissue scarring and improve respiratory function in patients with IPF.
