Drug intelligence / Profile preview
QRH-882260 is an orally bioavailable, fluorescent-labeled heptapeptide imaging agent. It consists of a seven-amino acid peptide conjugated to the near-infrared fluorophore cyanine 5 (Cy5). The peptide specifically binds to the tumor-associated antigen epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), which is overexpressed in various neoplasms. By targeting EGFR, QRH-882260 enables real-time fluorescence imaging of neoplastic tissues during endoscopic procedures, such as colonoscopy and ERCP for biliary disorders. Its primary use has been as a diagnostic dye for detecting and delineating cancerous or dysplastic lesions in the digestive tract[1][2][4][7].
