QT-219CX is an investigational universal allogeneic chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy designed to target both CD19 and B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA). Developed by the Children's Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine, it is being evaluated for the treatment of refractory B-cell-mediated autoimmune diseases, including systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), multidrug-resistant nephrotic syndrome (NS), IgA nephropathy (IgAN), systemic sclerosis (SSc), and ANCA-associated vasculitis (AAV). As an allogeneic "off-the-shelf" product, it aims to overcome the limitations of autologous CAR-T therapies by utilizing healthy donor cells, potentially offering a more accessible and standardized treatment option. The dual-targeting approach is intended to achieve more comprehensive depletion of pathogenic B cells and plasma cells.
