Drug intelligence / Profile preview
QTP705 is an investigational vaccine adjuvant currently in preclinical development by the South Korean biotechnology company Quratis. It is designed as a Toll-like receptor 7/8 (TLR7/8) agonist, a class of compounds known to stimulate the innate immune system by mimicking viral genetic material. By activating TLR7 and TLR8, QTP705 triggers the production of type I interferons and pro-inflammatory cytokines, which in turn facilitates the maturation of dendritic cells and the activation of T-cell-mediated adaptive immunity. The adjuvant is intended to enhance the immunogenicity and efficacy of various vaccine candidates, including those targeting infectious diseases and oncology indications. Quratis is positioning QTP705 as a key component of its proprietary adjuvant platform to support the development of next-generation vaccines.
