Drug intelligence / Profile preview
QTX125 and QTX153 are small-molecule inhibitors of histone deacetylase 6 (HDAC6) developed by Oncomatryx (formerly Quimatryx). QTX125 is a potent and selective HDAC6 inhibitor that has demonstrated antitumor activity in both solid and hematologic malignancies, including mantle cell lymphoma, follicular lymphoma, and acute myeloid leukemia; it has received regulatory approval to proceed into Phase I clinical trials in China. QTX153 is a non-hydroxamic acid HDAC6 inhibitor being developed for non-oncology indications, including central nervous system disorders such as Rett syndrome, as well as fibrosis and obesity. These compounds work by modulating protein acetylation and the tumor microenvironment, offering a targeted approach to diseases where HDAC6 dysregulation plays a key role.
