Overview

Qu-Shi-Jie-Du decoction (QSJDD) is a traditional Chinese herbal formula developed by Professor Haibo Zhang. It is being investigated as an adjunctive therapy to prevent recurrence and metastasis in high-risk stage II/III colon cancer patients after surgery and chemotherapy. Preliminary studies suggest it may reduce liver metastasis. Its proposed mechanisms include boosting immunity, reducing inflammation, inhibiting tumor growth, and modulating various signaling pathways. The decoction is also believed to boost spleen Qi and remove dampness, according to Traditional Chinese Medicine principles.
