Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A quadrivalent inactivated split-virion influenza vaccine designed to provide protection against four seasonal influenza virus strains. It includes antigens from two influenza A subtypes (H1N1 and H3N2) and two influenza B lineages (Victoria and Yamagata). Developed in collaboration with the Jiangsu Province Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and manufactured by Changchun Sponsor Institute of Biological Products, the vaccine is administered via intramuscular injection. It is intended to stimulate the production of hemagglutination-inhibition (HI) antibodies to prevent infection and reduce the severity of seasonal influenza, particularly in pediatric populations.
