Overview

**Quadrivalent influenza virus split vaccine** is an egg-derived, inactivated split-virion seasonal influenza vaccine developed and manufactured by Hualan Biological Vaccine. It contains hemagglutinin antigens from two influenza A subtypes, H1N1 and H3N2, and two influenza B lineages, Victoria and Yamagata. Each 0.5 mL dose contains 15 µg of hemagglutinin from each of the four strain components. Vaccination induces strain-specific humoral immune responses, including antibodies directed against viral hemagglutinin, to prevent influenza caused by antigenically related circulating influenza A and B viruses. The product received Chinese marketing authorization in June 2018. ([hualanbio.com](https://www.hualanbio.com/news/23_188))
