Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Quanyuhe ointment is a topical botanical drug product developed for the treatment of chronic and refractory wounds, such as diabetic foot ulcers, pressure sores, and chronic venous ulcers. Formulated based on traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) principles, it is designed to promote tissue regeneration (often referred to as "myogenesis" in TCM) and facilitate the clearance of necrotic tissue. The ointment works by modulating the wound microenvironment, reducing the expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines, and stimulating the proliferation of fibroblasts and vascular endothelial cells. These actions collectively accelerate the formation of healthy granulation tissue and promote wound closure. It is primarily developed and marketed by Beijing Quanyuhe Pharmaceutical Technology Co., Ltd.
