The drug has been specifically investigated in clinical trials for the treatment of chemotherapy-induced polyneuropathy (CIPN), a debilitating condition characterized by pain, tingling, and numbness resulting from nerve damage during cancer treatment. While the conventional pharmacological mechanism of action remains uncharacterized, the preparation is typically administered via subcutaneous injection or oral routes in various homeopathic potencies (e.g., D12, D30). A Phase II clinical trial (NCT02921100) has evaluated its efficacy and safety in patients suffering from CIPN following treatment with neurotoxic agents such as oxaliplatin or taxanes.
