Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Quavonlimab is an investigational human monoclonal antibody that targets cytotoxic T-lymphocyte antigen 4 (CTLA-4). It is being developed as an immunotherapy for various advanced cancers, including non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), malignant melanoma, liver cancer, and small-cell lung cancer. Quavonlimab acts as a CTLA-4 inhibitor, enhancing T lymphocyte activation and promoting anti-tumor immune responses. It has been studied both as monotherapy and in combination with pembrolizumab (an anti-PD-1 antibody) in multiple clinical trials. The drug is administered intravenously[1][2][3][4][5].
