Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Qubai Babushi Tablets (驱白巴布期片) is a traditional Uyghur herbal medicine developed and marketed by Xinjiang Yinduolan Uighur Medicine. It is formulated as an oral tablet and is primarily indicated for the treatment of vitiligo (leukoplakia). As a traditional multi-herb formulation, its therapeutic effect is attributed to the synergistic action of its botanical components, which are traditionally believed to improve skin pigmentation and address the underlying imbalances associated with vitiligo in the Uyghur medical system. While the specific molecular mechanism of action is not fully characterized in Western pharmacological terms, it is a recognized treatment within the Uyghur medical tradition and has received regulatory approval in China.
