Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Qubai Bairesi Tincture is a Traditional Uyghur Medicine (TUM) developed and manufactured by Xinjiang Uygur Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. for the treatment of vitiligo. This topical formulation is derived from a combination of herbal extracts, including *Psoralea corylifolia* and *Vernonia anthelmintica*, which are traditionally used in Uyghur medicine to treat skin depigmentation. The tincture is designed to stimulate melanocyte activity and promote melanin synthesis, often by increasing the activity of the enzyme tyrosinase. Additionally, it is thought to improve local microcirculation and modulate the immune environment within the skin. It is typically applied topically to the affected areas and may be used in conjunction with ultraviolet light therapy to enhance repigmentation results.
